- American Trails Members -- $295
- Non-Members -- $350
If registration form, including payment in full, is postmarked
after September 20th and prior to October 31st, the
registration fees will be:
- American Trails Members -- $350
- Non-Members -- $395
If registration form, including payment in full, is postmarked
after October 31st or if attendee registers on-site, the fees
will be:
- American Trails Members -- $405
- Non-Members -- $440

Registration
- There will be additional fees for field trips, mobile
workshops, and for pre- and post-Symposium workshops. Only pay for
your first choice each day. You will be placed in highest choice
available. If there is a price difference between the first choice
and the one in which you are placed, you will be automatically
billed, charged, or refunded the difference within 30 days after
the Symposium.
- To see if a mobile workshop or field trip is filled check out
the American Trails website www.AmericanTrails.org. These
activities are only available to Symposium participants and their
guests. Attendees may register in advance, first come, first
served. Guests may only register after October 21, 2002 or at the
conference, if space is available.
- CANCELLATION POLICY: Requests for Symposium cancellations for
registration and pre-reserved functions and activities must be in
writing and received by October 21, 2002. All written
cancellations are subject to a $25.00 processing fee. No refunds
will be issued on requests postmarked after October 21, 2002. If
minimum attendance numbers are not met, the Symposium organizers
reserve the right to cancel any activity. If applicable, a full
refund will be issued. Refunds will be issued within 30 days after
the Symposium. There will be no refunds allowed for membership
fees.

www.American Trails.org. Form may be copied. Only one registrant
per form allowed. Full payment is required for processing. Forms
received without payment or government purchase order will be
returned unprocessed. Pay by check, by credit card (Visa or
MasterCard only), or by purchase order. Cash will not be accepted.

- If you are mailing your registration please send it to
National Trails Symposium - Orlando CVB, 6700 Forum Drive, Suite
100, Orlando FL 32821.
- To be listed in the "Guide to Exhibitors, Presenters and
Attendees", you MUST be registered by October 11, 2002 to meet our
print deadline.
- On-site registration is on a space available basis only. CALL
before coming, to confirm openings.
- You will be provided with a confirmation to verify your
registration details. Please allow two weeks, unless you register
online. ¥ American Trails does not discriminate on the basis of
race, color, sex, national origin, religion, age or ability. Write
or call the American Trails office at (530) 547-2060 at the time
of registration, or by October 28, 2002 if you need special
accommodations.
- Please check to see if any of the field trips and programs
are full and closed to additional
registrants.
SCHOLARSHIP
OPPORTUNITIES
The American Trails' Scholarship Program is designed to encourage
and celebrate participation within the trails community. Scholarship
funds are limited and will only be available to cover all or part of
the cost of the Symposium registration. The American Trails Board
will have full authority to make scholarship selections. Scholarship
requests must be postmarked no later than September 2, 2002.
Scholarship recipients will be notified by October 1, 2002.
To request a scholarship, please send a letter addressed to Kay
Lloyd, Chair, American Trails and mail it to: Symposium Scholarship
Fund, American Trails, P.O. Box 491797, Redding, CA 96049-1797
Include the following items in your letter:
- a short bio reflecting your trails experience and interest
- the reasons you are requesting a scholarship
- why attending the Symposium would benefit you or your
organization
- how you can be contacted
Support documentation and/or recommendation letter(s) may be
attached. If you need additional information, please contact the
American Trails office: (530) 547-2060.
HOTEL RESERVATIONS
The hotel reservation line is (407) 939-1020, 8:30 a.m. -
7:00 p.m., EST. All you have to do is say you will be there for the
National Trails Symposium.
