Create, develop, promote, manage and evaluate programs for the Kalamazoo River Valley Trail and Regional Trails. Ability to coordinate large recreation programs/events, volunteer recruitment, marketing campaigns, fund-raising and strategic planning. Make trail program presentations to various groups. Ability to manage annual budget, conduct fund development and develop partnerships. Knowledge of local government processes. Bachelor's degree in Parks and Recreation, Management, or Public Administration and five years progressive experience in recreation programming, recreation facility management or trail programming/management, or comparable combination of experience, education or training. Proven skills in fund raising and marketing. Ability to utilize Microsoft Office applications, desktop publishing and electronic mail. Valid Michigan Drivers License.
