Hosted by AmericanTrails.org New Mexico seeks LWCF/Trails Program Coordinator Application Deadline: February 22, 2008 Job Title: LWCF / Trails Program Coordinator - SF State Parks Job ID: 13199 Location: Santa Fe, New Mexico Full/Part Time: Full-Time Regular/Temporary: Regular TERM for State Salary: Pay Band: 60 Hourly: $ 13.30 min - $ 23.64 max Annual: $ 27,664 min - $ 49,171 max Purpose of Position The primary purpose of this position is to assist with coordination & administration of the federal Recreation Trails Grants Program, and to implement State Trails System Act, coordination, planning, construction, and maintenance of trails within State Parks and on other state, federal and private lands where appropriate and to provide assistance with consistent oversight, development, implementation & distribution of the Statewide Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan (SCORP) to maintain eligibility for federal funds. Educational requirements A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Natural Resources, Planning or Recreation. Experience 2 years experience in grant and contract management, with administrative, planning and public relations skills and public speaking and/or 2 years experience in planning or implementing trails projects. Employment Requirements Valid NM driver's license. This job ad may be used to fill multiple vacancies within the Division. Working Environment Office work to include computer and essential office equipment use and deskwork, occasional lifting; field work to include driving long distances and extensive walking to conduct project evaluations and inspections on project sites.
