Leave No Trace materials available free for National Public Lands Day

With thousands of people at over 600 sites nationwide, NPLD is a perfect opportunity to show people that they can really make a difference by following the Leave No Trace principles. We're offering to give you all of the supplies you need to educate everyone at your site with Leave No Trace materials. All of the materials are FREE, all we ask is that you help us out by paying for shipping.

We'll be giving out plastic reference cards with all seven Leave No Trace principles on them, our new Pocket Guides filled with information, our new slogan stickers and Clif bars to help get your volunteers through the day filled with energy.

To order materials, all you have to do is go to the Leave No Trace website, www.lnt.org and fill out a simple form. You can them email the form to Keith Dunning at keith@lnt.org (mailto:keith@lnt.org) along with your payment information, and we'll take care of the rest. Please be sure to include payment information with your order to ensure the timely delivery of your materials.

We'd love to send Leave No Trace materials to every site participating in National Public Lands Day, so please take the time and fill out your request for materials while they're still available!

Leave No Trace Center for Outdoor Ethics is a national non-profit organization dedicated to promoting and inspiring responsible outdoor recreation through education, research and partnerships. Leave No Trace builds awareness, appreciation and respect for our wildlands.

The National Public Lands Day is the nation's largest hands-on volunteer effort to improve and enhance the public lands American's enjoy. In 2004, nearly 90,000 volunteers built trails and bridges, planted trees and plants, and removed trash and invasive plants.
