Trail Crew Lead needed for New River Gorge, WV

The Summit Bechtel Reserve is looking for an experienced trail builder who is interested in spending a summer in the New River Gorge maintaining and building trail. With 35 miles of MTB specific trail, 50+ miles of hiking trail, and BMX tracks, the Summit has something for everyone! We’re looking for someone to start as early as May 15, 2017 and accepting applications now.


Job Title: Trail Crew Lead

Location: New River Gorge, WV

Position Concept: Leads, organizes and supervises the Summit Trail Crew. The trail crew monitors, repairs and maintains the Summit mountain bike trails. The trail crew also leads teams of volunteer conservation workers.
