Hosted by AmericanTrails. org National Landscape Conservation System supporters urge yes vote on S.22 Omnibus bill TOMORROW morning EST, the House is expected to take up the Omnibus Public Lands Management Act under SUSPENSION. This is unexpected, late breaking news. This means we need 2/3s of the present/voting members of the House. We are looking at approximately 35-40 Rs that we need to vote for the bill. This is big lift, but no threat of a motion to recommit. Please contact your representatives NOW and ask them to vote YES for the Omnibus Public Land Management Act. This could go down very early tomorrow-FIRST THING, so if you are on the West Coast please email or leave messages with appropriate offices. The vote tomorrow will be on S.22 with an amendment (Altmire-like language from the NLCS bill that addresses concerns of the NRA). The bill would then go back to the Senate, subject to one cloture vote. This could change early tomorrow, but as of right now, the House plans on taking up this vote.
