Bev Moore of the Illinois Trail Conservancy is a true renaissance woman of the trails community. She promotes the development, support, and use of all trails within the state, and as a powerful advocate of multi-use trails, endorses a share-the-trail philosophy.

Bev has been a tireless advocate for trails throughout Illinois for years. As Director of the Illinois Trails Conservancy, she encourages individuals and organizations, especially elected officials, to develop trails, to support trails and to use trails.

Under Bev’s leadership, the Illinois Trails Conservancy has grown to represent all trail users and all types of trails. She is a firm believer in multiple-use trails and a share-the-trail philosophy among users. Bev is the past Chair of the Illinois Greenways & Trails Council and serves on the Grand Illinois Trail and Route 66 Trail Executive Councils.
