This bridge is for the use of pedestrians, cyclists, and mass transit. The highlight of the tour is a 2.5 hour overview of Ross Island and Lagoon.

Learn about the past pollution of the river and the ongoing restoration of the riverbank with new vegetation and trails. Canoe into the lagoon in the middle of Ross Island and learn how the former mined area will become a city park/natural area in the future. Discuss how mining and dredging operations have ceased and the restoration of the river, the island, and riverbank continues.
