Opportunities for Exhibitors at the Symposium

Over 100 exhibitors are expected to attend the 23rd American Trails International Trails Symposium. Don’t miss this great opportunity to promote your products and services along with the latest in trails technology, products, equipment, planning, and programs from across the U.S. and beyond! The exhibit hall location is at the Dayton Convention Center in the heart of downtown Dayton. The exhibit hall will host the Free Public Event “Building Public Awareness for Trails,” which is free and open to the public and is also the kick-off to the Symposium on Sunday, May 7 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. All events taking place on Sunday will take place in the exhibit hall (minus a few sessions/workshops).

We will offer dedicated exhibit hall time for attendees in our “Exhibit Hall Exclusive” this year that will include two full hours on Monday morning (May 8). We will offer poster presentations “on the bridge,” refreshments, and more. View the Schedule-At-A-Glance to learn more (PDF).

View many of our exhibitor’s products “along the trail” in the exhibit hall, as well as viewing “hands on” presentations and demonstrations of our exhibitors' products or services. We plan to design the exhibit hall once again as a trails and greenways system where you will also have the opportunity to allow us to “borrow” your products to help us create an exceptional indoor trail system! You must be a paid exhibitor in order to participate.

We are looking for all trail products from trail bridges, restrooms, trail building equipment, bicycles, ATVs, canoes, and camping equipment, to surfacing materials, greenery (trees, shrubs, flowers), signage, benches, picnic tables, and trash receptacles– to name a few. (Some items have already been secured. Please contact Emmy Fabich, Exhibit Hall Coordinator, at emmy@bikemiamivalley.org for details.)

You will receive recognition for your donated items, as well as give our attendees the opportunity to physically see your trail products first-hand in a virtual trail setting! Don’t forget about donating to the Silent Auction.

Silent and Live Auctions

Thanks to our generous contributors, at each Symposium we have a wonderful selection of auction items from which to choose. Auction donors are recognized in the Exhibit Hall, in the Symposium Program, in promotional materials, and on the website. The Silent Auction will take place in the exhibit hall during. The auction opens at 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7 and runs through 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 (on Tuesday the auction display will be moved near the registration area since the exhibit hall closes on Monday afternoon). The Live Auction will take place at the offsite Trails Rock Party on Monday, May 8 but these items will be displayed in the exhibit hall until then. Learn more and donate to the auction…

PTBA Outdoor Demonstration Area and Trade Show

The Professional TrailBuilders Association is sponsoring the Outdoor Demonstration Area and Trade Show, which will run during the same hours that the exhibit hall is open (Sunday, May 7 to Monday, May 8). The Outdoor Tradeshow will be located adjacent to the convention center. This is the only trade show in the nation dedicated to trailbuilders and trailbuilding tools, technology, and techniques. The outdoor demonstration area will have dirt, terrain, rocks, logs, and brush for equipment demonstrations. It is the single best opportunity for attendees to try various machines and equipment in a variety of conditions and compare and contrast them with one another. What better way for your company to market your cutting-edge trailbuilding tools, technologies, and products! You will need to be an indoor exhibitor in order to participate in the Outdoor Trade Show. There is an additional small fee to participate in the Outdoor Trade Show.
