** Not Available **

Cost: $265
Location: Greene County

This workshop highlights what is important for agency personnel, professional trail builders, as well as shared use trail enthusiasts and volunteer trail maintainers to know how to be productive and effective stewards of equestrian trails. We will present best layout and management practices for sustainable, environmentally sound trails that are horse friendly, as well as fixing issues that can’t be avoided. We will be exploring everything from saving existing trails to enhancing the opportunities for NEW trails and reroutes. Access, trail construction, and maintenance are paramount to have a great trail as well as reducing user conflicts. Our goal is to have those taking part, go home and confidently put into practice what they have learned. So come prepared to get a little exercise and have a hands on experience.

Instructors: Bud and Gwen Wills, Pennsylvania Equine Council
