American Trails is delighted to present the winners of the 2004 Photo Contest for National Recreation Trails. Our goal is to celebrate these great trails and to make more Americans familiar with them. We are presenting awards in various categories to highlight the diversity of the NRTs, from backcountry trails to urban greenways. We thank the National Park Service and USDA Forest Service for their enthusiastic support.
