Heron on the Cuyahoga Valley Trail: The trail goes through a
wetland on a wooden boardwalk. An observation platform along the boardwalk
provides a place to watch the animals that live in the wetland. This heron
watched the observation platform for 20 minutes or so. The towpath of
the Ohio and Erie canal has been developed as a trail in the Cuyahoga
Valley National Recreation Area, just south of Cleveland, OH. It is being
extended to both the north and south as the Ohio and Erie Towpath Trail.
