Trails for America: Every Where, Every Way, Every Day! Mobile Workshop
Details CREDIT ISLAND ATV RIDE & SAFETY COURSE
Date: Saturday, October 21 Ride an ATV through the wooded trails of Credit Island! The City of Davenport's Parks and Recreation Department, the Two Rivers ATV Club and the Iowa Off-Highway Vehicle Association have come together to develop the Credit Island trails for this one-day event! Included are an introduction to ATV riding and ATV Safety, and a chance to ride on the Credit Island trails. ATVs will be provided and those wishing to ride must wear a long sleeve shirt, long pants and over the ankle shoes. Helmets, gloves and goggles will be provided. The Iowa Off-Highway Vehicle Association's Adventure Trail trailer
will be on display. See first hand this great educational tool that
is being used throughout Iowa to educate youth and riders of all ages
on safe and responsible recreation. The Adventure Trail is just one
tool being used to help the National Off-Highway Vehicle Conservation
Council and its partners reach their goal of "Creating a Positive
Future for Off-Highway Vehicle Recreation".
