It has been developed and maintained by a local ATV Club. The Lake Wobegon Trail is currently 50 miles long, stretching from St. Joseph, MN to Sauk Centre, MN. Once the "forgotten four" miles are layed, the trail will connect to the 55-mile long Central Lakes Trail, which stretches from Osakis to Fergus Falls, MN: www.lakewobegontrails.com. Big Rivers Trail runs four miles between high limestone bluffs and scenic river valleys from Mendota to Lilydale: www.co.dakota.mn.us/parks/rivers.htm Cannon Valley Trail runs through diverse and spectacular scenery on a former Chicago Great Western Railroad line, connecting Cannon Falls, Welch, and Red Wing: www.cannonvalleytrail.com Gateway Trail Association promotes the 18-mile trail that starts in Saint Paul, just north of the state capitol: http://www.gatewaytrailmn.org Luce Line Trail www.luceline.com/ Willard Munger State Trail is a system of trails between Hinckley and Duluth offering hiking, bicycling, in-line skating and snowmobiling: www.munger-trail.com Paul Bunyan Trail is a 100-mile rail trail from Brainerd to Bemidji: http://paulbunyantrail.com/ Root River State Trail runs 42 miles through dramatic river-carved blufflands of southeastern Minnesota: www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_trails/blufflands/root_river.html The 135 mile Arrowhead State Trail extends from the Taconite State Trail (near Tower) to 3 miles south of International Falls; the major use of the trail is for snowmobiling: www.dnr.state.mn.us/state_trails/arrowhead/index.html
